Is it possible that we have underestimated our students and consequently under equip them? We are living in the day when almost infinite amounts of information are available to our students and yet we have a fixed mindset on what they’re going to learn. It’s time for us to begin with the endless in mind!
The session we’ll cover
three actionable shifts:
1. Moving from unit and project-based thinking to process and passion based Learning.
2. Equipping a student-empowered learning culture through research and design skills.
3. Increasing Academic and aesthetic freedom for students and teachers that includes equity of access to creativity, civility, literature, and libraries!
Participants in this session can expect to walk out with models of thinking that will spark rich leadership conversations, new data provided by students that shapes instruction, essential research skills that increase the power of design thinking for both teachers and students, and old and new tools that will make a world of difference!
