Marcy Cashin is the proud principal of Coastal Academy, TK – 8th grade, public charter school in Oceanside, Ca.  With over 20 years of experience in education, her career has spanned elementary and middle school teaching, in both tradition public and charter schools.  Marcy led her team to implementing MTSS and the results have been dynamic.  Her team is proud of the focus on the whole child and addressing academic, social emotional, and behavioral needs.  The team will share their journey to implementing MTSS, applying and receiving the Scaling Up MTSS (SUMs) Grant and being a member of cohort 1, and the positive outcomes they have seen so far.
